‘Coffee Ballerina’ was originally intended to be created with watercolours but an accident with a spilt espresso whilst working gave me a whole new idea for the piece. Catching the running coffee droplets with my paintbrush, I realised the versatility of coffee as a medium. ‘Coffee Ballerina’ was the start of my coffee collection, with friends now dubbing me an 'expressionist'."
