On Friday, Catch world-renowned chef and gastronomic ground-breaker Ferran Adrià giving an electrifying talk on his ‘Sapiens’ methodology - a pioneering framework that inspired Lavazza and ElBulli Foundation’s ‘Coffee Sapiens’.

4/ Latte Art Live
Watch the latte art stars face-off in highly skilled throwdowns and try your hand at pouring in our Latte Art Karaoke.
Taking to the stage will be the UK Latte Art Champion since 2013, Dhan Tamang, 2016 US Barista Champion Lem Butler, the first female World Barista Champion in history Agnieszka Rojewska and Australian Latte Art Finalist and Blue Diamond Ambassador, Luke Shilling, to name but a few.
This zone is constantly in action, led by the masters behind Ozone Coffee Roasters alongside feature sponsors Almond Breeze, Allan Reeder, HuskeeCup and Modbar.
5/ Sensory Experiences with La Cimbali
Trial and test your senses (and enjoy lots of quality coffee) at the La Cimabli Sensory Bar. Industry Day visitors will be invited to take a seat at the bar and get ready to be guided through a dynamic sensory experience, where you’ll be exploring the influence of cup design and environment on taste perception. During Saturday and Sunday top competitors in the coffee mixology scene will take over the space for focused mixology workshops. (Both bookable experiences.)
6/ The Roasters Village
A coffee reunion for the ages. Need a pick-me-up? You’re spoilt for choice: all of the continent’s best roasters are right here. La Marzocco’s Roaster Village is back! Join Europe's finest roasters as they take up residency to serve incredible unique coffees from LM’s Linea Mini machines. Taste your way through all twenty roasters and pick up your favourite coffees to take home. See the line up here.
7/ The Flavour Discovery
Making its debut this year, The Flavour Discovery delves into the world of good coffee. Through a programme of interactive tastings and activities, they’ll take festival-goers on an epic flavour quest that’ll enlighten, engage, and entertain.
How does aroma affect taste? Why do people experience flavours differently? And how come coffee tastes so damn good? Union hand roasted coffee will answer these burning questions on this epic, multi-sensory journey. Find out more.

Undertake the journey from bean to cup; discover raw green coffee beans and watch them roasted and brewed by the experts behind the likes of DRWakefield, Tia Maria + Coffee Project, Giesen, Bodum and IKAWA.
