Our Sustainability Promise

 
Our new and improved sustainability scheme has three simple, but very important, aspects that will be realised at the festival with your help!

Reuse

We're working closely with KeepCup, our official reusable cup partner, to reduce waste at The London Coffee Festival. That's why we're encourgaing all of our visitors to bring their resuable cup and take part in the Sustainable Coffee Flight. This will give all festival goers who bring their resuable cup access to exclusive tastings from across the festival. 



Compost

Wherever single-use packaging must be used, we're partnering with Decent Packaging to ensure it will be 100% plant-based and fully-compostable. That's your coffee and cocktail cups, plates, the lot. 

This means that all packaging along can be disposed with organic waste & food scraps in the clearly marked LCF bins, before finding its way to compost. We’ll even have our friendly Bin Hosts on site to help – too easy.

And how will we make sure it’s composted? With the help of first mile, all of the collected waste from the festival will be taken to their composting facility where the compostable packaging and food waste will integrate into the organic waste system. It's then turned into nutrient rich fertiliser from the composting process!

Upcycle

We're also delighted to be partnering again with Nordic roasters Löfbergs. Be sure to visit their stand to discover a 360 perspective of their circular economy and how they're giving coffee a second chance.
