After taking home Best Sustainable Coffee Shop at the LCF Awards 2026, the team dropped into Mosey and it’s one of those places that just makes you slow down and stay a little longer.

Inspired by Australia’s laid‑back café culture, Mosey is built around doing brunch properly, all day, every day with a focus on quality ingredients and a menu that feels both considered and easygoing. Seasonal dishes showcase local producers, from trout cured just up the road in Brockley to meat from Ellis Butchers in Blackheath.

Coffee is just as thoughtful, served using beans from Carnival Coffee Roasters in Penge aligning with the same quality-led, community-first approach that runs through the space.

Sustainability here isn’t a headline, it’s built into everything. From producing minimal waste (less than the average UK household) to recycling 80% through First Mile, every decision feels practical and considered. No single-use bottled drinks instead, filtered Belu water on tap and house-made sodas. Even leftover barista milk finds its way back into the kitchen.

There’s a warmth to the place that goes beyond the menu, we met Ginnie, the founder, whose passion for sustainability and great local produce runs through everything they do.
