We visited Scenery Coffee Roasters in Southwark - a warm, community‑driven coffee shop serving the coffees they roast on site, tucked inside the characterful Jerwood Space on Union Street. Thoughtful hospitality and exceptional coffee shape the experience here.
On the bar: house espresso, batch brew, and a rotating single‑dose menu of pour overs and single origin espressos that shift with the seasons. Their kitchen serves weekday breakfast and lunch, moving to all‑day brunch with cocktails on weekends ☕️
We also stepped behind the scenes into their on‑site roastery, founded by a trio with 30+ years of experience. They keep things honest and flavour‑first, roasting on a Loring S35 and offering transparently sourced coffees across a range of styles. Their illustrated labels, created with Lucas Garcia, capture the landscape and character of each coffee.
