In my journey so far, I have won first place in the 2025 Belgium Brewers Masters Cup, the 2025 Poland Origami Cup, and the 2023 Riga Latte Art throwdown competition organized by Kalve Coffee Roasters. Additionally, I earned the runner-up title in the same competition the year prior. These achievements not only reflect my commitment to excellence but also fuel my drive to continue evolving and contributing to the coffee community.

What unique skills or perspective will you bring to the competition?
The unique perspective I bring to the Coffee Masters competition is my willingness to step outside the box and push the boundaries of traditional standards in the coffee world. I am guided by a principle that I deeply resonate with in my journey: great coffee starts with you admitting you were wrong yesterday. I love exploring new possibilities and being proved wrong, whether by experimenting with coffee brewing techniques or crafting creative and unconventional drinks, because I believe the biggest part of our growth comes from our failures. This mindset allows me to bring a fresh perspective and unique experiences to the table. This reflects my passion for creativity and my commitment to continuously improving the craft of specialty coffee.

Are there any specific disciplines in the competition that you're particularly excited about?
I am particularly looking forward to The Order and The Signature Drink disciplines. The Order challenge excites me because it directly relates to my ability to handle high-pressure situations and be creative within them. Being able to apply the skills I have refined throughout my specialty coffee journey in a competitive setting would be an amazing opportunity to see where my skills may lack and improve them even further. On the other hand, The Signature Drink discipline allows me to express my creativity by bringing beauty and precision together in a coffee cocktail. This year, I already have a unique cocktail in mind that focuses on the story of a particular coffee that excites me, and I cannot wait to share it. Both disciplines seem the most challenging in which to score highly, which is precisely why I am so thrilled to test myself in them and improve even more.
