What motivates you to participate in the Coffee Masters competition?
I think it's a prefect challenge that uses many different aspects of being a barista. Also, I like the idea of interacting with the judges, something I don't get to do in other competitions.
What's your favourite coffee filter recipe, and why?
Origami dripper with Kalita wave filter 15g coffee to 250g water 50g bloom and 2 100g pours. It's my go to base recipe and I adjust temp and grind size to taste. It's easy and works for most coffees!
Tell us a bit about your signature drink:
Something chilled to a really nice temperature, with a beautiful garnish and kind of classy. The coffee will obviously dictate the ingredients, but it will be inspired by the best cocktail I ever had. Something delicious and memorable that you want to keep drinking!
