Notable achievements or awards in the coffee industry:
I have had the privilege to compete two times at London Coffee Masters and I have won the barista cup twice in Czech Republic. 8 years ago, I finished 4th at the last held Slovak Barista Championship. By working for 3 years for Forest coffee, a Colombian coffee developer, farmer and producer, I have had the privilege to connect a roaster in the EU with producers in Colombia, source from basic espresso coffees, all the way to the world stage competition.
What unique skills or perspective will you bring to the competition?
Humbleness, respect, passion and love for the coffee and all persons involved in the whole coffee industry (and I hope a signature drink, that will bring smile to the judges faces. When they taste the drink, they will remember it for long time)
Tell us a bit about your signature drink:
I will try to present my region, my heritage, using local ingredients that will connect coffee and Slovakia on stage.
