What do you believe sets you apart from other baristas?
What sets me apart is that I know how to lose. I love bringing knowledge from the kitchen and mixology into everything I do with coffee. You can't have coffee without mixology — and you can't have mixology without coffee.
Describe an innovative coffee creation or technique you use that isn't commonly used or known:
Cryoconcentration. Basically, you can freeze everything and use the concentrated liquid. Works great with juice and then combine it with coffee for a wonderful coffee cocktail.
What motivates you to participate in the Coffee Masters competition?
To be honest, the people that are organising, participating and judging it. Since the first time I saw it, I knew that it is fair, hard and memorable. During these years I made real friends from it.
