Notable achievements or awards in the coffee industry:
I count many achievements in my personal journey in the coffee industry, however the most relevant are here listed: 4th place Dutch CupTaster 2023, 3rd place Dutch CupTaster 2024 and Best Specialty Cafe by European Coffee trips 2025 (Dak Showroom).
Are there any specific disciplines in the competition that you're particularly excited about?
I'm really excited about the signature drink as it is something that would I love to create and share with people. For me would be also a challenge, once again, to push my boundaries and create something incredible. I'm also very excited for the guessing the coffee discipline as it is also one of my strengths.
Tell us about any additional skills or experiences you believe will be valuable in the competition:
One my best skills is flavour acuity and flavour memory, I can remember a specific flavour for years and being able to compare it with a new flavour accurately. When I was bar manager in a 5 star luxury hotel, I worked with a lot with mixology and specialty coffee, developing the ability to connect coffee origins or coffee profiles with cocktails (or mocktails).
