We opened our doors in 2010 with the mission to serve specialty coffee alongside our all-day dining. This all culminated in us installing a roaster in the basement of our first restaurant, where we would roast in the middle of the night to save money on the leccy bill.
Fast forward to today (thankfully in a North London warehouse now), we roast exceptional coffee for the global-minded. The global-minded are curious, inclusive, and open to diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences, embracing what unites and enriches us from around the world and, well, we make coffee for them.
We source only coffees that score 82 and above on the SCA scale. We maintain direct relationships with all our farmers, some relationships lasting 10+ years. Our head of coffee, Jamie, has been in the industry for many years. He leads a team we’re mega proud of, focusing on a quality, sustainability and relaxed approach to coffee.
