I like to think that the only special talent I possess is making friends, which has turned out to be pretty useful. It's helped me build a thriving career in coffee and has taken me to places I never thought possible! I run Amulet up in Glasgow, a coffee shop and florist that can't fit neatly into any box, and that’s why people love it.

When I'm not at Amulet I'm heading up the sales and account management team at Dark Arts Coffee. Yes, that's right. I'm to blame. If you've seen Dark Arts Coffee in a cafe near you or otherwise it's probably my fault. 

Coffee Masters is the highlight of my year. The judges and competitors are my family. As the host of the best coffee competition in the world I bring expertise in brewing, community knowledge and a signature dry sense of humour that leaves, even me, questioning if I'm joking or not.
