Maddock is a Glasgow based DJ and selector operating on the principles of - is it funky? has it got soul? and does it groove?
The infusion of these key elements see Maddock's selections go beyond a spectrum of house flavours - jackin', deep, disco, jazzy and traversing genres of 70's funk, indie dance, acid jazz, afro-beat, UK garage, future funk and just straight-up bumpin' grooves.
In addition to playing sets around various Glasgow bars and on community radio stations Clyde Built Radio and Subcity radio, Maddock is also part of the Deeper Love collective, running a bi-monthly club night at renowned La Cheetah basement club which celebrates the deeper sounds of New York and Chicago house, disco, afro and more.

Co-Owner and Operator at through the House
Lewis is the co-owner and operator of Through the House, a music-focused and multi-roaster specialty coffee shop located in Trongate, Glasgow. After leaving his academic career as a research chemist, equipped with only home barista experience, he worked for Thomson's Coffee helping manage their flagship espresso bar for 2.5 years before opening Through the House with his partner Rachel.
Referred to as 'Glaagow's living room', COFFEE | MUSIC | GOOD TIMES is the ethos of Through the House. Alongside featuring a variety of incredible roasters from Scotland, the UK and beyond, Through the House regularly hosts events ranging from live DJs spinning vinyl, cuppings, chill yoga mornings and a book club meets.
