Regenerative Farming: A Greener Future
Since 2021, Cornish Dairy have been exploring regenerative farming principles to enhance soil health, improve biodiversity, and carbon reducing practices. Their approach includes:
- Boosting Biodiversity: Growing a variety of plants to improve soil structure and increase wildlife
- Soil Protection: Keeping plant cover to prevent erosion and support soil organisms.
- Living Roots: Maintaining plants year-round to store carbon and strengthen ecosystems.
- Minimal Disturbance: Limiting ploughing to 25% or less of the land annually
- Livestock Integration: Cows are free to graze and enjoy at least 120 days a year outdoors
Commitment to Sustainability
Cornish Dairy sources its milk from farms within a 25-mile radius, reducing transport emissions and supporting local farmers. Their zero-to-landfill policy since 2020 ensures responsible waste management, and their recyclable milk bottles help close the loop on plastic waste.
Cornish Barista Milk
The perfect blend. Our milk comes from a mix of dairy herds: Brown Swiss, Friesian, Holsteins, and Jerseys, and we worked with award winning baristas in the development of the perfect milk for coffee. At 4% fat with a balance of butterfat and protein it’s a full-bodied milk which easily and consistently creates a stable microfoam, for a creamy, smooth ‘mouth feel’.
So experience Cornish Dairy Barista milk across the festival, knowing that every sip supports ethical farming.
