Milk Matters: Cornish Farming Standards

We are proud to introduce our milk sponsor for The London Coffee Festival 2026, Stores, who provided exhibitors and visitors with milk from Cornish Dairy (formerly Trewithen Dairy).

Not all milk is created equal. Cornish Dairy milk comes from Cornish family farms in the heart of Cornwall. Not only are they passionate about the health and welfare of the cows, but 6 farms are also leading the way in regenerative farming practices.

Cornish Dairy Milk

Regenerative Farming: A Greener Future
Since 2021, Cornish Dairy have been exploring regenerative farming principles to enhance soil health, improve biodiversity, and carbon reducing practices. Their approach includes:

  • Boosting Biodiversity: Growing a variety of plants to improve soil structure and increase wildlife
  • Soil Protection: Keeping plant cover to prevent erosion and support soil organisms.
  • Living Roots: Maintaining plants year-round to store carbon and strengthen ecosystems.
  • Minimal Disturbance: Limiting ploughing to 25% or less of the land annually
  • Livestock Integration: Cows are free to graze and enjoy at least 120 days a year outdoors

Commitment to Sustainability
Cornish Dairy sources its milk from farms within a 25-mile radius, reducing transport emissions and supporting local farmers. Their zero-to-landfill policy since 2020 ensures responsible waste management, and their recyclable milk bottles help close the loop on plastic waste.

Cornish Barista Milk
The perfect blend. Our milk comes from a mix of dairy herds: Brown Swiss, Friesian, Holsteins, and Jerseys, and we worked with award winning baristas in the development of the perfect milk for coffee. At 4% fat with a balance of butterfat and protein it’s a full-bodied milk which easily and consistently creates a stable microfoam, for a creamy, smooth ‘mouth feel’.

So experience Cornish Dairy Barista milk across the festival, knowing that every sip supports ethical farming.
