1. By entering the Awards the Entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions (which may be amended or varied at any time by us with or without notice) and to be bound by them. These terms and conditions include any instructions set out with the Entry Form.
2. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to reject any entry that it deems inappropriate.
3. Entries must be submitted online and must be submitted no later than 11.59 p.m. on 31st December 2024. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
4. Entries will only be accepted if they are submitted in full, with full contact details. In addition, submission of an entry can only occur once these terms and conditions have been accepted.
5. All Entrants must be over 18 years of age.
6. Entrants consent to the publication by the Organiser in connection with the Awards of any of the documents or materials constituting their entry.
7. Should the Entrant be shortlisted, they will be required to submit a profile image and video. By doing so, the Entrant is consenting for the Organiser to use this image / video in pre-event, at the event itself and post-event promotion.
8. By uploading your image and video you are confirming that you own the images /videos and are giving us permission to publish them. Or that you are licensed to use the images / videos and to licence us to use them without payment of a fee.
9. Entries will become the property of the Organiser and will not be returned.
10. The Awards will be judged by a panel of judges selected by the Organiser.
11. The Organiser reserves the right to change the judging panel without prior notice to entrants.
12. 'Coffee Masters Finalists' will be announced in January 2025, with the Coffee Masters heats and final taking place at the London Coffee Festival 2025, 15th – 18th May 2025.
13. All 16 finalists will receive £150 each. The overall winner will receive a trophy/award and an additional cash prize of £2000. 2nd place will be awarded £600. The prize does not include the costs of travel, accommodation / hotel expenses or insurance, which shall be the sole responsibility of the finalists.
14. The decision of the head judge on all matters affecting this competition is final and legally binding.
15. No correspondence will be entered into.
16. Winner and finalist entrants may be required to take part in some pre and post-event marketing and publicity, and consent to their name and photograph being used for such purposes.
17. The winner and finalists may publicise their achievement provided the year in which they won / participated is stated.
18. The 16 Finalists will receive two free standard entry tickets to The London Coffee Festival 2025 on 15th – 18th May 2025. Attendance at the event will be subject to our standard Event Booking Terms and Conditions.
19. By entering the Awards, all Entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of the Awards and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. 20. The Organiser and Data Controller is William Reed Ltd, Broadfield Park, Crawley RH11 9RT.
21. These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
